Getting Trex OTT running takes about five minutes on almost any device. This 2026 guide walks you through setup on the most popular platforms — Amazon Firestick, Smart TV, Android, and iPhone/iPad — using the credentials we send after you sign up or start a free trial.
Whatever device you use, you’ll need the same three details from your activation email: your M3U URL (or Xtream username, password and server URL), and an OTT player app.
1. Amazon Firestick / Fire TV
- From the Firestick home screen, search for and install a player such as OTT Smarters or TiviMate.
- Open the app and choose Add playlist / Xtream Codes login.
- Enter the username, password and server URL from your Trex OTT email.
- Wait for the channel list and EPG to load — you’re done.
2. Smart TV (Samsung, LG, Android TV)
On Android TV, install OTT Smarters or TiviMate from the Play Store and log in with your Xtream credentials. On Samsung Tizen and LG webOS, install a compatible player from the app store (or use the SmartTV/SS OTT option) and add your M3U URL. The setup flow is identical: paste credentials, let the guide populate, start watching.
3. Android phone & tablet
- Install OTT Smarters Pro from the Google Play Store.
- Choose Login with Xtream Codes API.
- Enter your Trex OTT username, password and server URL.
- Tap to load — live TV, movies and series appear instantly.
4. iPhone, iPad & Apple TV
Download an iOS OTT player such as OTT Smarters or GSE Smart OTT from the App Store, add a new playlist using your M3U link (or Xtream login), and the channel list loads automatically. Apple TV uses the same apps from the tvOS App Store.
Troubleshooting tips
- Buffering? Test your connection — OTT needs ~15 Mbps for stable 4K. Restart the router and the app.
- Login error? Re-check the server URL exactly as sent, including
http://and port. - No EPG? Give the guide a few minutes to download on first launch.
- Still stuck? Trex OTT support is available 24/7 over WhatsApp and live chat.
